Short Bio
I was born in Veria, Greece and raised as the oldest kid in a family of six. When I became of age, I moved to Thessaloniki to study Physics, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During my studies I had the opportunity to spend six months as an Erasmus student at the Technical University in Dortmund, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Em. Paschos. After that, I moved to Heraklion to do my MSc in Elementary Particles and Cosmology at the University of Crete. There I collaborated with several postdocs under the supervision of Prof. T. N. Tomaras. He was the one who introduced me to the fascinating field of gravity, in which I pursued a PhD later on.
At the end of 2015 I went to Naples to do my PhD, having as an advisor Prof. Salvatore Capozziello. He not only helped me understand difficult notions in the field, but he mostly stood by me instead of above me; he treated me as an equal/colleague, even though we both knew we were not, and he gave me the opportunity to travel the world, give and listen to talks and seminars and collaborate with researchers from all around the world.
From 2019 to 2021 I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Science and Technology of Yangzhou University, in Yangzhou, China. There I collaborated with Prof. Yen-Chin Ong and Prof. Bin Wang. From 2021 I was hired as a researcher with a 2-year contract at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from Prof. G. Lazarides to work with him in his project "Inflationary models in the LHC and Planck era". Recently, I moved to Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan to work with Prof. Daniele Malafarina as a postdoctoral researcher.
